Mitra Jyothi is proud to be a part of “Sugamya Pustakalaya” – An On-line Library for Persons with Print Disabilities (visually impaired with any kind of blindness from low vision to 100% blind) launched by the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (Divyangjan), Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India on 24th August, 2016.

The key collaborators of this wonderful initiative are DAISY Forum of India (DFI), National Institute for the Visually Handicapped (NIVH), Bookshare and TCS access Infinity.
Ms. Madhu Singhal our founder and Managing Trustee who is also the General Secretary of the DFI was part of the inaugural launch.

Mitra Jyothi Staff and volunteers have put in many hours on this project and are eagerly awaiting the launch of "Hear2Read" on all android phones.
