Mega Health Camp conducted on 10th February
With about 170 participants, we are pleased to announce that the Mega Health Camp conducted on 10th February at our CEWD facility was a big success!
As planned, Mitra Jyothi and the Rotary Club of Bangalore, Koramangala organized the Free Mega Health Camp on 10th Feb at our CEWD Facility in Electronic City, Phase 1. This event was planned & executed in collaboration with Bangalore Institute of Dental Science and Hospital,Global Eye Hospital and Oxford Medical College Hospital and Research Center, Anekal Tq Bangalore.
The program was inaugurated at 10.00 AM by Ms. Madhu Singhal, Managing Trustee, Mitra Jyothi, Rtn. Janet Yagneshwaran, President,Rotary Club of Bangalore Koramangala, Sri. Ramesh K.N. Asst.Commissioner of Police,Electronic City and Dr. Bhagya, Public Health Officer,Medical Dept, Government of Karnataka. Sri.Anjanappa, Area Corporator BBMP visited the event later during the day.
The residents of our Hostel actively participated in hosting the program. From welcoming the guests, addressing the audience, guiding the attendees to delivering vote of thanks, our CEWD beneficiaries (hostel residents) were seen enthusiastically being a part of the whole event.
As many as 170 citizens attended the Health Camp and consulted doctors with various specializations. Men, women and children of all age groups benefited from the health camp. General Physicians, Pediatrician, Dentists, Ophthalmologists and Gynecologists were part of the panel of doctors who attended to the patients.Patients were guided to visit supporting Hospitals for further investigations as appropriate and needed, Staff from Oxford Hospital also distributed free medicines to patients.
