Mitra Jyothi’s 35th Anniversary Celebration

Mitra Jyothi recently celebrated its 35th Annual Day with great enthusiasm, showcasing the incredible talents of visually impaired students through cultural performances. The event was graced by Meghana K.T., Assistant Director of Doordarshan Chandana, who was also a former trainee of Mitra Jyothi.

The celebration began with the traditional lamp lighting ceremony, followed by an inspiring speech from Meghana K.T., encouraging individuals with disabilities to embrace education, training, and technology to overcome challenges.

Mitra Jyothi’s Executive Director, Asha Shridhar, highlighted the organization’s continuous efforts in empowering the visually impaired through various programs. Outstanding students, dedicated volunteers, and successful trainees were honored for their contributions and achievements.

A key highlight was the distribution of certificates to the 58th batch of the Digital Literacy Program, aimed at equipping visually impaired individuals with essential IT skills for a better future.

The event was attended by several dignitaries, volunteers, and supporters, making it a memorable occasion filled with joy, appreciation, and commitment to empowerment.
