Our Work Our Vision

Education Resource Centre

The Education Resource Centre (ERC) is dedicated to advancing the education of individuals with vision impairments by providing a wide range of accessible reading materials. These resources include books in formats like eText, ePub, DAISY (audio), mp3, and Braille, ensuring that everyone has access to the information and knowledge they need. The ERC empowers visually impaired students and lifelong learners by making educational content accessible and promoting inclusion in learning and literacy.

Independent Living Skills

The Independent Living Skills program is a foundational, hands-on initiative designed to empower individuals with visual impairments to achieve self-reliance and build confidence in daily life. Through practical training in essential skills—ranging from personal care and household tasks to mobility and social interaction—this program equips participants to lead independent and dignified lives.

The Digital Literacy Computer Training Centre

The Digital Literacy Computer Training Centre provides essential computer skills training for visually impaired individuals, catering to both low vision and totally blind students. Offering a range of courses from basic to advanced levels, the centre equips students with critical digital skills, enhancing their independence and opening doors to greater educational and professional opportunities in today’s tech-driven world.

Placement Cell

Our Placement Cell is dedicated to assisting individuals with disabilities in securing meaningful employment. By actively engaging with companies and small establishments to understand their specific needs and fostering inclusive hiring practices, the Placement Cell bridges the gap between employers and job seekers with disabilities. Additionally, we focus on preparing and supporting our candidates, ensuring they have the necessary skills and confidence to join the workforce and thrive in their careers.

Women Empowerment

The Women Empowerment program is dedicated to supporting visually impaired girls from disadvantaged backgrounds, providing them with access to higher education and the skills needed to build brighter futures. This program is for girls who have shown academic promise and completed class 10. Our goal is to empower young women with the knowledge and confidence to pursue their dreams and achieve independence.

Building Awareness

Our Building Awareness initiative is focused on fostering a more inclusive society by creating understanding and acceptance for people with disabilities. We believe that true inclusivity begins with an environment that educates and sensitizes everyone—building awareness in schools, workplaces, and communities. Through workshops, sensitization programs, and awareness campaigns, we work to break down barriers and inspire a culture of empathy, respect, and accessibility that supports the integration of people with disabilities into all aspects of society.
