Dr. Sanjay Jain
Dr. Sanjay Jain stands as a distinguished figure in the legal realm, revered for his profound contributions and unwavering commitment to social justice. Despite vision impairment, he currently holds the esteemed position of Professor at NLSIU Bangalore and having served as the Former Principal of ILS Law College Pune, Dr. Jain boasts an illustrious career spanning over 25 years in academia. His expertise traverses’ various domains, including Disability Rights Jurisprudence, Comparative Constitutional Law, Feminism, Legal Theory, and International Trade Law. Notably, he has been appointed as a member of the ‘Supreme Court Committee on Accessibility’ by the honourable Chief Justice of India, Justice Dr. D.Y. Chandrachud, showcasing his dedication to advancing accessibility rights. Dr. Jain’s scholarly pursuits are exemplified by his doctoral thesis on ‘Feminism and Constitutional Law’ and a plethora of publications, including edited works like V.D. Mahajan’s ‘Constitutional Law’ and critical essays on Disability Rights Jurisprudence.
