Meal Sponsorship
All the training programs at Mitra Jyothi are residential programs where the trainees are provided safe and secure dormitories with wholesome, hygienic, nutritious & balanced food. Support us by being a meal sponsor! Training programs happen throughout the year and on any given day food is provided for about 40 to 50 beneficiaries in Mitra Jyothi’s main campus and 50 to 60 women at our Centre for Empowerment of Women with Disabilities (CEWD).

You can support Mitra Jyothi by sponsoring any of the skill development & training programs specially designed for training the blind. Be our training sponsor by supporting Computer Training, Life Skill Training, Empowerment of women with disabilities or sponsor Workshops conducted to train the blind to use assistive devices and appliances.

Mitra Jyothi is supporting visually impaired girls from remote places and marginalized community in education by getting them admission in nearby PU and Degree colleges since many years. As part of it, around 15 girls are supported every year. You can support Mitra Jyothi by sponsoring the educational support for the blind girls.

Mitra Jyothi produces text books and general reading material in audio and braille formats, magazines and guides to educational and job-oriented competitive exams and distributes aids like DAISY players and Smart Canes to beneficiaries in need. Various events like valedictory functions, annual day celebrations, usage training and distribution of assistive devices and other short-term training programs happen at Mitra Jyothi throughout the year. On such events, cultural programs are presented by our trainees, certificates are distributed to graduating trainees gifts are given to outstanding performers. Special meals are arranged for the day and other hospitality arrangements are taken care of. Your support to such programs is very valuable to Mitra Jyothi.

We run our operations with support from philanthropic organizations, various foundations, corporate CSR and support of individuals. This support, sponsorships and partnerships are in terms of cash donations, donations in kind or by means of volunteering time and effort in being a part of various activities at Mitra Jyothi.
Our General Fund is used to augment any shortfall in the day-to-day operations and as a seed capital to start new initiatives while our Corpus Fund is used for capital investments & maintenance activities. Make a donation to our General Fund to support our day-to-day activities or help us build our Corpus Fund to make it stronger for a rainy day!
