Embracing ‘Ability in Tech’ at the NASSCOM Foundation Conference!
On December 11, 2023, Mitra Jyothi had the privilege of participating in a transformative conference hosted by the NASSCOM Foundation, revolving around the theme ‘Ability in Tech.’ Three of our computer training students, accompanied by our computer instructor, Ms. Meghana, took center stage at this enlightening event. The highlight of the day was Ms. Madhu Singhal’s powerful inclusion story, “Vision Beyond Sight: Empowering the Blind through Leadership and Inclusion.”
Our students seized the opportunity to engage with professionals from diverse IT companies, soaking in knowledge and building valuable connections. The energy in the room was palpable as the barriers between ability and opportunity blurred. It was truly heartening to witness private companies taking significant strides in employing individuals with disabilities and actively fostering an inclusive work environment.
The conference underscored the importance of creating opportunities and breaking down barriers in the tech industry. Our students left the event feeling inspired and motivated, having seen firsthand the possibilities that lie ahead.
